Andy Williamson set up AWCS in 2000, offering a range of unique civil engineering and groundworking services, but now focuses more on sheet piling for the foundations of commercial and government buildings. AWCS's rare, small-sized piling hammers have given them a niche market and an advantage over their competitors.
Following meetings with local Armada manager Gary Langan and then MD Kirk Smith, funding was happily provided for a highly specialist sheet piler, enabling the company to use a wider range of piles. Armada's flexible approach meant there was no problem arranging and making the purchase in Euros from the supplier in Finland.
Andy said: "Introduced via our accountants with the promise of a relationship with a local area manager, Armada has turned out to be even more beneficial than we were led to believe.
