Komedia, one of the UK's leading Arts and Entertainment organisations fought off tough competition to buy the stunning Beau Nash Picture House in Bath. Working side by side with Armada, Colin & Marina Granger and Richard Daws completed its long-awaited transformation into an exciting new comedy and music venue. The award-winning formula that's been such a tremendous success in Brighton has already gone down a storm in Bath since its November 2008 opening.
"We were intrigued by Armada's claims of offering a personal, ongoing relationship, but once we started working with Olly and Kirk we soon saw the benefits for the future of our business. With Armada's funding we kitted out the entire venue extremely quickly, with everything from sound, lighting and stage equipment to furniture and even the tills. The process ran so smoothly because of Armada's input, giving us some much needed peace of mind.
Komedia is a forward thinking, enterprising and expanding organisation, just like Armada and having a similar outlook makes ours the perfect partnership. We want to open further sites across the UK in the coming years and now a solid relationship has been established we want all future assets across the Komedia group to be funded through Armada, allowing our business to grow at a sustainable rate whilst maintaining a steady cash flow. We were so pleased to find a bank still lending and actively offering support when so many others are shutting their doors!"
